The French Riviera
The Côte d'Azur region of the south of France is also know as the French Riviera, which is a different name for the same thing. As with many things in Provence, the exact location of the Riviera is a subject of much discussion. It can be from the Italian border to just past Cannes, or it can reach way past Cannes all the way along to Cassis, which is just before you get to Marseille.
